Before You Compare

Four things to check in any epoxy quote

Get other quotes. We mean that. Just make sure you are comparing the same floor, because most of the gap between us and a cheaper bid is work that quietly did not happen.

01

Is the concrete mechanically ground?

We profile every slab with a professional grinder on 30 and 80 grit diamond pads, run through a dustless system. An acid wash or a quick sanding is faster and cheaper, and it is the reason coatings lift off in sheets a year later.

02

Is there a moisture barrier?

Every TXR floor gets an epoxy MVB coat before anything decorative goes down. Moisture pushing up through a slab is the most common reason epoxy fails, and it is the first thing left out of a cheap bid. Quartz systems get a second coat of it.

03

What is the topcoat?

Ours is polyaspartic, gloss or satin. That is the layer taking your hot tire pickup, dropped tools, and road salt. A single coat of builder grade epoxy costs less up front and shows it inside a season.

04

Who is actually on your floor?

The crew that quotes your space is the crew that finishes it. Licensed, insured, and on site. Nothing gets handed to whichever sub happened to be free that week.

We are not the cheapest quote you will get. We are the one you only pay for once.

The Price Sheet

Our real numbers, published

Most contractors hide this until they are standing in your garage. We would rather you know now whether we are in your range.

Two Things We Need

Before the crew pulls up

Get these two sorted and the job runs on schedule. Neither one costs you anything.

01

The space has to be empty

Completely clear before day one. Cars, shelving, freezers, bikes, boxes, all of it out. We cannot grind around your storage, and anything left behind gets coated into the floor or delays the start.

02

We need 220v power

The grinder and dust extraction run on 220v from your panel. If you have the panel, we handle the hookup ourselves. If you are not sure what you have, send a photo of your breaker box with your quote request and we will tell you.

Good To Know

Questions about the estimate

Is this the price I will actually pay?

It is built from our real per square foot rates, so it is close. The two things that can move it are slab repairs and access. We confirm the final number at the free on site measure and put it in writing before anyone starts grinding.

Why is the moisture barrier included in every job?

Because moisture coming up through a slab is the single most common reason epoxy floors fail and peel. We put an MVB coat down on every install rather than gambling on it. Quartz systems get an additional MVB coat, which is part of why they take longer.

How long will my space be out of service?

A flake floor is a two day job. Quartz runs four to five days because of the extra moisture barrier coat and the additional build up. Metallic, solid colour, and polished concrete timelines are confirmed at your measure. After any install, furniture goes back the next day and vehicles two days after completion.

My floor is cracked and stained. Do I need a new slab?

Almost never. Cracks, pits, and chips get filled and levelled during day one prep, then the coating goes over a sound base. Tick the repairs box in the estimator and send photos with your request and we will price the repair work for you.

Which areas do you cover?

West Long Branch, Monmouth County, the Jersey Shore, and the wider Tri State Area. If you are outside our usual radius, send the request anyway and we will tell you straight whether it makes sense.

What colours can I choose?

Come see the full board at our showroom on Oceanport Ave. We stock metallic powders, epoxy pigments, and flake blends across blacks, greys, whites, reds, oranges, golds, blues, teals, greens, purples, and browns, and we can mix to match a slab or a brand colour.
